I met Bill, when he was a Sailing Coach, and I was an instructor at Bristol Avon Sailing Club, Saltford. At that time, CVLSC was advertising a SI Course, which I attended, and obtained my Senior Instructors certificate. Bill was an exceptional Coach, Kind but stern, and stood no messing. I went on to start a Sailing School at BASC, and then a Sailing School at Chew. Afterwards I started CLADS. All on the strength of Bill's teaching. Chris Face
