Sad to hear Bill has left us, he was extremely encouraging to me as a new member at Chew Valley Lake sailing club back in 1990, Wednesday's were my practice day and with much baracking from the balcony by the Wednesday sailors, especially Brooksy, it was Bill who sought me out when l came ashore to give me some feedback.
